Little Liam’s Neuroblastoma Fight
Donation protected
The 7th of October 2021, the day our lives changed forever.
My nephew Liam was only 2 years old when he was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 High-Risk Neuroblastoma - Cancer on the adrenal glands.
From then, Liam deteriorated quickly as the tumour was very, very aggressive. It began with the tumour extending to the length of his hip bone to his chest bone. On the left side, it squished his heart and lungs, causing major issues leading to a long ICU stay. At this time, we had to prepare for the worst and say our goodbyes.
Liam has never given up his fight though. Since then, he has spent more time admitted to the hospital than at home, with multiple surgeries and ICU visits becoming the new norm.
Liam is an incredibly strong little boy, so clever, kind and so brave. He doesn’t know much else than his hospital life.
Liam’s Mum is a single Mother who has been doing her absolute best to continue raising Liam and his older sister Sienna and trying to maintain a happy and normal childhood for them both. But the bills keep coming in. Many medications and treatments Liam needs are not covered by our healthcare system and are very expensive. My family are not the type to ever ask for help but we really need it now to try to take some pressure off.
We are forever grateful for everyone who has donated and thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
