Little Life, Big Dreams

Let me introduce myself, my name is Monique.

I live a little life in the grand scheme of things. I am a wife of 27 years and a mother of two daughters. I am gratefully employed and in good health. I am not for need of anything really.

That is, except for a purpose.

You see, I am turning 50 years old in April of 2024. I started thinking about what I wanted to do for my 50th birthday. I mean it's a big one. People even refer to it as the "Big 5 0!"

Of course, I started thinking about a trip or a personal challenge, like hiking a fourteener, or even strong-arming my husband into throwing me a "surprise" party.

Truthfully, all of those things sound lovely but would they really mark and make my 50 trips around the sun worth it? No.

That is why I have decided that I want to donate my 50th birthday to something that will impact the world in a positive way. I want to take this opportunity to make my big dreams of helping others come true.

I just can't do it alone.

I know that things are hard right now and only getting harder. And if you are struggling as many of us are, I will gladly pray for you and help you in any way that I can.
