2022-2023 Little Miss Morris Brown College Pageant
Donation protected
My name is Amiya and I am running for Little Miss Morris Brown 2022-2023! I would greatly appreciate your support.
Here’s a little background of why MBC is a huge part of my legacy and why I am destined for this journey. Over 11 years ago my parents Doris Abdullah and Alieu Abdullah met as students on MBC campus, they fell in love and then came a bundle of joy.. Amiya Divine Abdullah! If that’s not admirable enough, there’s more where that came from! My great, great, great Aunt Ruth Hall Hodges founded this very pageant decades ago to raise money for schooling. Several of my family members also went on to graduate from MBC including: My Great - Great Grandfather Rev. Johnny Reynolds; my Great Grandmother Geraldine Andrews (who was crowned Mrs. Adult Education of MBC); and My grandmother Lamartria Andrews (who was crowned Miss Borders Towers; Miss S.N.E.A; and Captain of Bubbling Brown Sugar Majorettes).
Enough about my history, let’s get into fun facts about me! I am 11 years old and people say I’m brilliant, inquisitive, and super affectionate! My younger siblings Alia, Alieu and 2 pet gerbils keep me on my toes! I love to cook and dance! I want to be a famous chef when I grow up and I am currently a passionate dancer on “Atlanta Glitter Diamonds” team, check us out on social media! My favorite subject in school is math, it comes easy to me so just know I’ll be where the money resides! My favorite inspirational song is Run The World by Beyoncé!
I believe I am the epitome of what Little Miss Morris Brown 2022-2023 should represent. The Princess that raises the most money wins! Donations are accepted until October 5th. Thank you in advance for your support!
