Little Miss Ophelia

Hi my name is Amber and I am trying to raise some funds for my brother, sister in law and my beautiful niece. Two days ago my 2 1/2 year old niece was playing outside and ended up tripping over some bricks and fell into a fire pit. There had been a fire the night before and there ended up being some hot coals left under the ash. This resulted in 3rd degree burns to her arms and one of her hands. For now it’s looking like she will be staying in the hospital for at least a month and will have several surgeries including one this morning. As of now we have to wait to see how her fingers heal to see how much damage has been done and how well they will function and then they will decide if she is going to be able to keep all of them or not. They’ve been managing her pain and trying to keep her hydrated and she hasn’t had to many complaints thankfully. She is such a brave, outgoing, and adventurous little girl and anything donated will go towards medical bills, gas to drive back and forth and to help with food costs while staying in the hospital. If you’re able to donate we would be very grateful but if you can’t a sharing this would be so helpful. I want her stay to be as comfortable as possible and that means having her parents by her side and not worried about every day life because Ophelia needs them to be focused on her and her healing journey. I will continue to update as things change. ❤️

Today was a great day, her surgery yesterday went well and the doctors said the burns are not as bad as they originally thought. Although this is great news she is still going to need another surgery and physical therapy. For now we’re celebrating any wins that we get. Please keep sending positive thoughts and keeping this crazy girl in your prayers. ❤️ thank you to everyone for your continued support.
