Little Rock Tornado - Cross Family

Hi everyone! Jesa Barnett here. My sister, brother in law, and 2.5 year old niece (Julia, Kelby & Amelia) just lost their home and car to the tornado that hit Little Rock. We are feeling very grateful that all of them are safe and survived with only a few scratches. Julia and Amelia were in their car in the garage when the center of the tornado hit their street. My mom who had arrived for a weekend visit was parked in front of the house. Her car was lifted by the tornado and then smashed underneath a tree. The tree kept her car from getting fully taken into the tornado. Again, VERY grateful that all are okay with minimal physical injuries. Kelby was able to come from work across town quickly to help get everyone out safely and help the neighbors.

Unfortunately, their house, car and majority of their belongings have been destroyed. They moved into this house a year ago as first time home buyers. They have a long road in front of them with next steps. I'm here asking for donations for them in the in between. As of right now, they will be staying at a hotel for the near future and have some close friends who have offered for them to stay.
