Help cancer warriors be a little more comfortable

Hi my name is Jenny and our beautiful daughter Kelly has Breast cancer and is currently going through treatment. Kelly has and continues to be amazing and courageous despite what she is going through. She has lots of friends and family who are supporting and have made her special pillows, bags and seat belt covers etc, which has made Kelly’s journey a little more comfortable.

Seeing what a difference it has made Kelly, we have set up a group called Little Sewn Comforts to support others who are going through cancer treatment or surgeries that may benefit from our little comforts.

Kelly is also part of our group having hands on experience of using her cushions etc, giving advice on patterns and even designing and making some of our Little Sewn Comforts, when she is feeling well enough.

We are currently making mastectomy pillows, seat belt covers, gport and stoma covers, drain bags, heart cushions, etc, to give free of charge to those that need them. The funds we raise will go towards materials, postage, etc to make the much needed items so we are able to continue to offer this free of charge to those in need.

Our group of volunteers are passionate about what we do and know with your help we can help those going through cancer make their journey a little more comfortable too.

My husband, Ian and I will be starting off the fundraising on 21st October, Ian will be shaving his beard and I will be shaving my head. I will put updates on here with photos as things progress.
