Hello Beauties, Littlesalt Studios needs your help.

We are delighted and excited to announce our third show in our current exhibition series. This exceptionally creative international series orginated in Galway, Ireland in 2022 and has made it's way to the foothills of the Himalays in Rishikesh where we are exploring cultural connections between Irish and Indian mythologies.

The inaugural show in Ireland - entitled SIÚL FADA, DIA BÁS - meaning a Long Walk, a Death God was based on The Corrib River, artists engaged with the mythology of water to create their pieces. The funds raised through this show were donated to The Claddagh Watch - a voluntary team who save many lives along the banks of The Corrib River due to suicide every year.

The second show in our series, entitled - DIA BEATHA, UISCE MHÁTHAIR - Life God, Mother Water exemplified the antithesis to it's former counterpart. The collective community support from this show raised awareness of the physical and spiritual pollution of the Ganges River and promoted cleaning drives to collect refuse from her waterside.

This third and final show in this series is: BANDIA - which means Goddess in the Irish language and also Girls in Hindi. In this we explore the interconnectivity of our ancient Irish folklore and the current culture of the Goddess in India. Funds raised from this show will be used to create and donate to the birth of an NGO with the same name BANDIA - a charity which will help underpriveleged women and their children right here in Rishikesh.
