Dear Friends,
Thanks to Covid, we haven’t performed live music since March, and our return to the stage is uncertain. But we have put the time to great use, working on Viola and Piano literature. A dear friend turned us on to two obscure late-Romantic Austrian composers that enchanted us and deserve a wider audience. So we decided to make a CD – our first as both a musical duo and as newlyweds. The composers are Egon Kornauth and Robert Fuchs, and some of these works have never before been recorded. We will be recording October 23-25 at Henry Wood Hall in London, produced by the legendary Andrew Keener. After the disc is edited, we will market it to labels, confident that one will release and distribute it.
As you can imagine, the upfront costs are significant, and so we are launching this campaign and looking for supporters who believe in classical music, in the importance of capturing rarely heard work, and in finding ways to reach an audience when stages are dark everywhere.
For $50 donation or more, we will give you a complimentary autographed copy of the CD.
For $200 or more, you will get a complimentary autographed CD as well as sponsorship credit in the CD booklet.
For $2,000 or more, you will get the autographed CD plus producer credit on the album.
