The Liturgy Documentary for a Church in Crisis

Why do only 31% of Catholics believe in the Real Presence? Why do only 22% of young Catholics attend Mass?
The way we pray is the foundation of what we believe. Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi! (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1124)
Even with the best Catechesis, if our worship looks more like a birthday party or a seminar than the eternal sacrifice of Christ, then the world will stop believing.
We are creating a documentary to inspire millions of Catholics to discover traditional liturgy. These funds will provide for the costs of the fundraising film and marketing campaign.
After the 70s, everything changed.
Church attendance from young people dropped from 75% to 22%
In America, the number of priests plummeted from 58,000 to 37,000. And more than half will reach retirement age next year.
Nowhere did Vatican II call for the demolition of altars, the removal of the Eucharist, the painting over of sacred art, the abolition of Gregorian chant, or liturgical creativity.
Millions have left the church, but many flock to the Traditional Latin Mass which weathered the changes and retains its traditions. Families are rising up to be a part of it.
But even with the victories of John Paul II and Benedict XVI in allowing for greater use of the Traditional Latin Mass, we discover groups of faithful who are refused it.
The Church is isolated.
We want our family back in the pews, so we need to reclaim the liturgy as it was meant to be. The way we pray is the foundation of what we believe.
We are using a story-first approach that will be engaging and accessible to the average Catholic.
Help us create something the Church can rally behind in a time of crisis and confusion!
+ Inspiring stories of Catholics discovering the beauty of the faith through sacred liturgy.
+ Entertaining and accessible interviews with experts designed to reach the average Catholic.
+ Clever animations in the style of VOX Media with inspiration from the Italian artist Giovanni Gasparro.
+ The Holy Mass documented in a unique and beautiful way to draw out its meaning.
