Old Cutler Corridor Restoration

Donation protected
Our community is working to plant and enhance natural areas near SW 184th and Old Cutler Road to bring back native ecosystems such as coastal uplands and wetlands in support of Everglades Restoration and Biscayne Bay Coastal Wetlands Project.

Livablecutler, dedicated to preserving the natural areas and green spaces that make for sustainable living in South Miami Dade County, organizes community groups and workdays spearheading this effort for years.

The vision includes a contiguous green corridor that bridges Cutler Bay and Palmetto Bay from Deering Estate South to Biscayne National Park, restoring critical wildlife habitat and providing wonderful recreation and education opportunities for its residents.

Your cash donation here will allow us to buy the necessary native plants, trees and accesories like mulch, benches, and signs to welcome the community.

Please help these grassroots efforts by adopting a tree to successfully restore a disappearing habitat in our fast growing area.

All funds are being raised to support these ongoing restoration efforts and public access.

Suggested donations and approximate value to the effort:

$15- 1 tree

$30- 3 trees

$50- 6 trees

$100- 15 trees

Restoration Goals:

*Restore important and threatened Coastal uplands and near Pine Rockland habitat.

*Restore habitat for many endangered and threatened plants and animals.

*Provide opportunities for community passive recreation and education.
