LIVE FOR OTHERS FOUNDATION
Tim Vorenkamp was a very close friend of mine in high school that passed away during my freshman year of college to synovial sarcoma, a very rare form of cancer. Tim first contracted the cancer in 2010 at 13 years old and fought off the cancer after extensive chemo treatments. Unfortunately, Tim relapsed 4 separate times since 2010 and ultimately passed 1/10/2016. Before he passed, he made it his mission to create a non profit foundation named the "Live for Others Foundation" that is dedicated to finding a cure for synovial sarcoma, a very rare form of soft-tissue cancer diagnosed primarily in teenagers and young adults. I made it a commitment to myself that one day I would honor Tim's legacy in a special way. I encourage you to check out these details on Tim's story in his own words and the foundation in these links:

WILLIAM EASLAND
Will Easland is my brother in law, and currently has his own multi year battle with a very rare liver cancer named Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma. This cancer is so rare that many oncologists know nothing about it. Will is a 29 year old EMT and volunteer firefighter and his wife Noelle is a 26 yr. old labor delivery nurse in Colorado. He was first diagnosed at 22 in which a large tumor was removed, after multiple surgeries and a relapse he has undergone 6 months of chemo and currently will be getting chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. The donations provided will go towards medical care and bills, a possible trip to Chicago for another surgery, and Noelle's extensive time off from work in the hospital to take care of Will. Attached is a photo of Will's most recent instagram post outlining his immense struggles and courage during this time. Will's bravery and fight during this time is unlike anything I have ever known.
All proceeds from the donations will be split 50/50 towards William Easland and Live For Other Foundation.
Thanks to all who donates, any amount is beyond generous and our families thank you endlessly.
