Help Build The Well With Us!
This campaign is about Jesus. We believe all women need to know him to truly live well - both now and forever.
In an age of constant cultural distraction, The Well aims to be a place of truth for modern day followers of Jesus.
And we need your help to do it.
W H Y W E E X I S T
The Well is a community for imperfect women to be encouraged and help each other bring Jesus into their everyday lives.
We aim to accomplish this by:
1. Focusing on women aged 20-35 and meeting them where they’re at in their faith
2. Giving women a safe space to get real with themselves, with one another, and with God
3. Introducing them to the radical love of Jesus
4. Challenging women to turn their faith into action that leads to impact in their local and global community
W H Y W E N E E D Y O U R H E L P
We want to make Jesus truly known by women across Canada.
We need your help to:
1. BUILD engaged online communities through social media: our Facebook Group, Instagram, email subscribers, and our blog
2. ENGAGE with churches across Canada in offering The Well Practice, an opportunity to dive deeper into faith alongside other women. Through a 10 week program based on The Samaritan Woman at the Well, women meet in small groups led by a Facilitator and engage in challenging conversations that focus on spiritual growth, authenticity, and faith that leads to impact. (In-home and virtual groups are available).
3. PLAN recurring community events such as pop-ups, worship sessions, retreats, workshops, conferences, and fundraisers that focus on practical spiritual formation.
4. PARTNER with local and global missions organizations for greater awareness of the needs around us and provide opportunities for women to get involved.
- Acts for Water -
We’ve partnered with Acts for Water in supporting clean water initiatives for communities in Africa! 8.4 million people in Uganda live without access to safe, clean drinking water. For mothers, this means the risk of parasites and dangerous waterborn illnesses threatening the lives of their children. For young girls, it means walking several kilometres every day with heavy cans down dangerous roads instead of going to school.
Partial proceeds of this campaign will go directly towards funding a new fresh water source for a community in Uganda. Those who donate to this campaign will be provided progress updates of when this TapStand will break ground to when it is completed.

H E R E ' S O U R S T O R Y . . .
The Well was founded by Malissa & Nicole (hey heyy!), two girls who have been massively impacted by Jesus.
We realized there was a gap for Christian women our age, and we wanted to fill it.
But more than that, we knew what WE most needed. We needed community. We needed solid Christian friendships. We were pretty much a mess.
We used to be very far from God - living life our own way, running away from pain and towards pleasure, getting into all sorts of things that seem “normal” to the world. But they were things that left us empty and broken.
Today, after experiencing God’s healing and transformative work in our lives, we are deeply dependent on Jesus and have truly never felt more at peace. We have been changed from the inside out. A relationship with Jesus can do that.
This was our story: experiencing incredible transformation from truly knowing Him. And we want the very same for other women, too.
Here’s what else we know: We weren’t meant to do this alone. We all need to be part of an authentic community. That’s why we created The Well.

Testimonials from The Well Practice:
“The Well had me in awe. It digs in deep where you let things hide, and brings it to the surface where it should be. Where God can show he's there to take the hardships from you. It opens your eyes to deal with the reality of purpose in life and doesn't cover it up like it doesn't matter how we live. You definitely get out what you put in, and that is up to you on how you want to experience it. I would just suggest to go full in and enjoy the friendships, conversation, freedom, and closeness with God.” // Raylene
“As someone who has been attending church since before I can remember, I found The Well Practice to be a refreshing, reflective journey towards a closer, more intimate relationship with God our created and Jesus our saviour. The Well Practice allows you to be truly vulnerable and open in a safe space of other women seeking the same thing. I went into this 10 week practice thinking it would be a fun way to meet other girls on similar spiritual paths to mine and looking to make strong connections and The Well Practice did just that and much more, pulling past hurts and disappointments out of me and allowing Jesus to meet me in those dark places, surrounded by a core group of Godly women to support me each step of the journey.” // Sonia
“The Well Practice is a place for authentic conversation, deep relationship, and real life transformation. It is thought-provoking and powerful. I would recommend this program to any woman who wants to get real about faith and form meaningful friendships.” // Marianna
“The Well Practice was clearly well thought out and geared towards women who are seeking a closer relationship with God. Throughout the 10 weeks, I have realized things that need to change in my life, and how present God truly is. I am also more aware of how God seeks me in the everyday and provides many opportunities for me to grow closer to him. The Well Practice was full of impacting devotionals and great discussion questions that made me analyze my personal relationship with God.” // Danica
“The Well Practice is a place where I met and got to know some amazing women. Each week overflowed with deep, real and vulnerable conversations full of support, encouragement and safety. I got to process through things I was going through and see that I was not alone. My past pain was validated and was met with empathy and zero judgement, which was so freeing and encouraging. God revealed to me crazy realizations through processing each weeks conversation in my homework and I learnt more about how He sees me and who He is. I feel the closest I have ever felt to God and am so surprised of how much He revealed to me each week and through the practice as a whole. 10/10 would recommend!” // Carly

“Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” // John 4:11, 13-14
