Help Live Cafe's Anti Racist Mission in Oak Park

“No n*s on the ballot!” - note on the brick thrown at the window of Live! Cafe.
Chibuike Enyia and Anthony Clark are running for Oak Park trustee, and recently had their candidacy challenged in a racist and slanderous attempt to get them off the ballot.
Reesheda Graham Washington, the founder of Live! Cafe, and many others have dedicated their heart and soul into the work of building a safe space in Oak Park for anti racist activism and community growth.
This hateful violence is a response to a strong coalition of activists putting together a diverse set of candidates to run for local offices, including three Black candidates for Village Trustee.
It’s also deeply connected with the long history of hate crimes and racial terrorism in US history.
We will update this more to provide additional context.
This fundraiser supports Resheeda Graham Washington and Live! Cafe and will be used to help drive the mission of anti racism in this community and beyond.
Please also support donating to Represent Oak Park to support the following candidates:
Juanta Griffin, Village Trustee Candidate
Anthony Clark, Village Trustee Candidate
Chibuike Enyia, Village Trustee Candidate
Christina Waters, Village Clerk Candidate
