School Supplies for Children In Need

L.I.V.E. Families, Inc. believes that access to quality and interactive education is the key to success, and as the world keeps progressing, it is becoming increasingly important for all students to have access to adequate and proper educational resources. However, one of the major drawbacks that may prevent children from obtaining quality education is the lack or insufficiency of necessary school supplies. Through this funding, we aim to raise funds for the purchase of school supplies for children in New York City and the Philippines for the upcoming 2023 school year.

L.I.V.E. Families, Inc. is actively working with teens to promote community and global service projects. Our teens came up with a great idea to not only give back to our communities in New York City but to adopt a community in Ligao City, Philippines. Ligao is a city in the province of Albay, Philippines. Most of the city's economy came from the agriculture sector. Just in Ligao City alone, many children and young teens come from low-income families or even below the poverty line who cannot afford to buy school supplies for their children and young teens.

The goal of this mission is to provide school supplies for children particularly in Bronx, New York and Ligao City, Philippines. L.I.V.E. Families, Inc. aims to raise sufficient funds of at least $8,000, and be able to provide school supplies to approximately 300 children both in Bronx, New York and Ligao City, Philippines.

School supplies and resources are essential because they represent equitable educational opportunities. A donation of $25 will cover the cost for 1 child to recieve a bookbag filled with a notebook, pencils, erasers, sharpener, and crayons. A larger donation will help more of our children focus on learning and being prepared. We will also be seeking support from local communities and we are open for collaboration with various foundations, well-wishers, and corporate organizations to spread awareness and gain support for our cause and provide children with the necessary supplies to be successful in school.

This is a crucial initiative! L.I.V.E. Families, Inc. considers that this added support for the children will truly help improve their academic performance. With proper school supplies, children will be more motivated to learn and perform well in their studies.
