Liver for Big Sister: A Race against Time

Hi everyone, this fundraiser is for my Big sister Emily who is in dire need of a liver transplant. My sister Emily Smith (24) is currently in the care of Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant, located in San Antonio, Texas. After some tests and scans, the doctors have discovered that Emily is currently suffering from Stage 4 liver failure and the rest of her body is extremely heathy. Currently she is awaiting approval from Insurance and eligibility for the transplant. If she does get approved for the transplant which we are praying heavily for, the hospital will need $300,000 before the surgery can be performed. She will need to have the surgery performed within the next month in order to live a happy and normal life again. Emily means the world to us all and we’re willing to do whatever it takes for family.
