Liver for John!!!!!!

My name is Kathy Carnes and I have 2 wonderful grown children and grandchildren. My son John has always been healthy and full of life. He is married to his high school sweetheart of 26 years. He has 4 children and one grandchild. He became sick at the beginning of the year and went to the doctor and received the news that he has stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver. He has no insurance. They have been trying to get financial help through SSA and insurance as well as family and friends. John needs a new liver and before he can go on the transplant list, he needs several procedures done. The first one is surgery of the esophagus because he is bleeding through it. This surgery is $30.000. It is very crucial that John receives this surgery as his liver no longer filters and he swells and has to be drained once a week. His time is running out. I know that everyone is going through something, and people may not be able to give large sums .... but little by little it could grow. Maybe you can only help with 5 dollars. I am mom who is facing losing her son, and I have to try everything and that is why I am here asking. My prayers go up daily for help to save my son. I would be beyond grateful for any help in any amount. Once he has this surgery, as it is the first step..... then he gets put on the transplant list to be able to get a new liver.... and can live to see his babies grow up.
