Liver? I hardly know her! - Help Sarah’s Liver!
Donation protected
As many of you will know, Sarah’s breast cancer crept back in 2020, presenting in her liver. The chemo meds she’s on have been doing a great (miraculous at times, even) job of suppressing and destroying the cancer. However her scans this year have shown a new growing mass in her liver. So she’s looking at science-backed additional therapies to complement her current chemo regime. Vitamin C via IV and targeted hyperthermia are the two that have spoken to her and seem to yield excellent results. These are used in many other health systems but not Ontario, so are not covered currently by OHIP. This means all treatment expenses are out of pocket.
Anyone who knows Sarah knows she loathes asking for help. But as a single foster mum with a limited income, now is the time to help her out whether she likes it or not!
Thanks so much!
