Liverpool Half Marathon 2025 for Endometriosis UK
I will be running the Liverpool half marathon in March 2025 for Endometriosis UK.
As someone who couldn’t even get out of bed some days due to this condition, I never thought I’d catch myself even running a mile never mind a half marathon.
Endometriosis took over my life, one day I’d be feeling normal then the next I’d be in excruciating pain, I lost 2 stone over a short period of time and completely lost myself. I was lucky enough to have surgery in October 2023, where I got my full diagnosis and removed the endometriosis, but the journey getting back to normal life again is still ongoing. Endometriosis is a life long condition that has no cure meaning it will always grow back. Surgery/treatment aims to help with symptoms and I am finding my symptoms are miles better, my energy levels are still continuing to improve and my condition doesn’t interfere with my life half as much. So I thought I would put my energy into something that will be such a big achievement while also raising money for a charity that’s helped me a lot through my journey with endometriosis and also raise awareness of this horrible condition.
Every donation will help and thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me
