Passing of Kenneth Evason better known as Liverpool Kenny

You may have known Kenny from one of the local pubs, working with him as a carpenter or just around Acton or Shepherds Bush. As most of people know Kenny was born in Liverpool and Moved to London after coming out of the services (Royal Fusiliers) he spent many years in Shepherds bush then moved to Acton, Only recently moving to Ladbroke grove but every day missed being in his community of Acton.

Unfortunately, Kenny past away 12th November 2024 in Charing cross hospital after being admitted with a stroke on his 67th Birthday. Whilst in hospital he was diagnosed with Endocarditis and Lung Cancer (which he did not know about) The Cancer had spread to his bones and this was diagnosed whilst he was in hospital because he had a body scan due to the stroke. The cancer had spread through his body and bones (stage 4) and his health declined very quickly. He was in hospital for 4 weeks before he quietly past away.

As our friend Kenny I know Kenny only had his uncle in Liverpool and no other family to talk of, he only had his friends we have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses. Kenny was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral and did not prepare or suggest any wishes for his funeral, so during this difficult time we are reaching out to the community for help.

Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. We need to raise around £4000 as soon as possible in order to cover the cost Kenny’s funeral service.

Kenny deeply valued the work he did but was looking forward to his retirement after his birthday which he did not see. If we exceed our goal, any additional funds will Royal British legion as he was very fond of this excellent charity
