Deanna is a black trans woman who recently got out of prison where she spent 15 years of her life.
She relocated to the Bay Area after getting out about a year ago and deserves financial stability. The funding she usually gets from the government because she is unable to work due to an injury to her back was recently cut off and her renewal request has been denied. This puts her at risk for homelessness because she has no other source of income. She has no other family or people that help her so it is critical that we raise money for her to be able to live the comfortable life she deserves.
