Living Tribute for Tara Lincoln Lockwood's Sons

Please join us, Tara Lincoln Lockwood’s family, in honoring her memory and providing love and care for her sons. All donations will go to support Alex (19) in college, Nick (17) in his final year of high school, and Zach (14) as he embarks on his high school journey. Tara loved and treasured her boys. A donation in her honor will support their futures.

Tara was a bright light who enjoyed center stage and making others laugh. When Tara walked into a room, sparks would fly. She brought an air of excitement and happy chatter would follow. Tara’s smile could transform a room. She made everyone feel joyful and loved—none more than her boys who delighted in family adventures together. We will miss her smile and contagious laugh.

Following a short illness and hospital stay in June 2023, the boys' mother Tara (48) passed away unexpectedly. The boys were by Tara’s side for her final days, as was Tara’s brother Brad Lincoln, mother Sandy Lincoln, and friends. Tara’s passing came as a shock.

Fundraising is for the benefit of the three boys, who also tragically lost their father, Will Lockwood, to cancer in March of 2014. Will was 39. Funds will be used to support the boys, including living expenses in the short run, and ultimately to fund college and get started on their adult lives. These kids have challenges ahead of them, and this fundraising effort will be instrumental in helping them face some of those challenges.

The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to friends and family who have offered unwavering support. Tara loved raising her boys in Redding, CA. The Lincoln Lockwood families have deep roots and dear friends across the community. The kind care, good wishes, help with family matters, and financial assistance is sincerely appreciated.
