LivingstonStrong Playground

My husband, our family and our LIVINGSTON STRONG community have been courageously fighting stage 4 colon cancer since August 3, 2018. We invite you all to join us in making his dream come true  - to build a beautiful and vibrant play space for his family of seven children and his community that has so generously supported him every. single. day. 

Today, the Livingston Strong Playground Fund is being launched to make this dream a reality through the rebuilding of a community park and playground that is fresh, functional, family friendly and full of life.  We are in full pursuit of a mission to fulfill Doug’s dream to build a playground in his honor.

Updates to the park will include: accessible entrances, exits and pathways to playground, signage at entrances and exits with perennials and annuals, new perennial gardens, a raising of the current playground area, playground flooring made with poured in rubber that is permeable, new drainage system under entire playground area, new playground equipment and landscaping plan to fill and improve usability of green space.

Doug continues to fight with an amazing courage, strength and grace that is nothing short of inspiring. I know this Livingston Strong community is capable of amazing things - Let’s rally to make this dream a reality via GoFundMe!
