Liv's Curved Wings Will Fly

As a local Sports Presenter I was touched by the story of a local young lady suffering from Scoliosis.

Speaking to Olivia and her Mum Angela was heartbreaking and heartwarming, simultaneously.

For many days I tried to give exposure to the families fundraising attempts to send Olivia for the surgery she needs in Turkey.

Speaking to my close friend Jamie Dewsbury, we felt we should be doing a lot more and therefore decided that we could do something we both love for someone who desperately needs our support.

With this in mind Jamie and I are going to be running the Media City 10K on Thursday 30th September to show our fighting spirit and set Olivia's wings into flight mode. (original date of 26/08 has been changed)

We have set a target of £1000 which will go directly to Olivia's fund. Every Single Penny.

We will be running in the Scoliosis Warrior T - Shirts and I just hope we can add a smile to one of the bravest young faces I have come across.
