Livvy the three legged Rhodesian Ridgeback

As you all know our beautiful girl Livvy was hit by a car on Sunday. I feel rather awkward setting up this page but a number of you have asked me to so here we go. So far our vet bill is nearly 3 grand and there will be more costs to come. We will find the money somehow but any small donation will help.

The back story: She was so badly injured on all legs and had severe internal bleeding, the vets didn't hold much hope but still acted fast by binding her body, bandaging her legs and pumping her with fluids and pain relief. It was touch and go for the first few days but somehow she pulled through, as soon as she was strong enough on Wednesday night they made the sad decision to amputate one of her back legs. For those 4 days in the vets she received amazing care and compassion and everyone fell in love with the sweet girl she is.

She's still not through the woods but she's shown what an incredible girl she is and she certainly won't give up easily and is learning to live life as a tripod.
