Please join us in unwavering support for Liz Gallo and her family as they navigate Liz’s ongoing journey with ALS. Liz was diagnosed with ALS less than two years ago. After slowly losing mobility in her arms and legs, Liz contracted Covid and was hospitalized in November 2022. Since then, Liz has been living in a rehab facility and is on a ventilator and unable to speak. She will permanently reside in this facility until her passing.

Liz, a courageous, hard-working single Mother and devoted daughter and friend, has displayed unending strength in fighting against her diagnosis. Her medical condition has left her 18-year-old daughter, Emily Simons and her 96-year-old mother, Betty Gallo living alone without a regular income for the past 8 months. Liz’s selflessness has always been admirable, and she would support everyone in a time of need. We are hopeful that you will now follow in her footsteps as we ask for donations to support Emily and Betty with their monthly housing, utilities, and food expenses. Emily and her grandmother are doing their best to manage ongoing costs but are facing extreme difficulties while also trying to keep Emily’s education at Villanova on track.
