Liz Najera

Hi, my name is Imelda Mora, and this Go Fund Me has been created to help my friend and coworker, Elizabeth Najera.

Elizabeth Najera, Liz, or as her students fondly call her “Sra. Najera” is currently in Methodist Hospital Stone Oak here in San Antonio. She was admitted Friday morning to the ICU Department due to internal bleeding in her brain. Right now, the professionals think the bleeding is from her brain tumor radiation scar. Liz will undergo brain surgery on Monday, July 10th.

Sra. Najera has been a 5th Grade Spanish Immersion Teacher at Woodridge for five years and has been teaching for eighteen years total. Because of her work ethic and dedication to her students and our campus, many are unaware of the battles that she has been facing. About six years ago, Liz was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive breast cancer. She has undergone a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, and numerous other surgeries to combat this cancer while being a caring mother of four children at home and passionately teaching our 5th graders at WE! To say that she is a warrior and an inspiration to those who know her is an understatement! Please, please, please pray for Liz, her medical team, and her family.
