Liz’s Funeral Expenses & the Kids’ future
Donation protected
This is hard, so hard to write about. So hard to relive.
My sister in law, my brother Donny’s wife, has tragically passed away. It was only 8 months ago that I was sitting here thinking of words to write about Donny’s death. Thinking about how this will impact his kids for years to come. The devastation that his loss brought to our family is difficult to process, still to this day.
And now, more devastation. MORE HURT. More loss to their children.
Trying to explain to Alaina, Bryson, and Neveah that tragedy has interrupted their lives once again is heart shattering.
Their mom has died. They are orphans. Both their father and now their mother gone, within the same year.
Alaina is 12 years old, almost 13. I know that is when I needed my mom the most. Her mom won’t be there to help her pick out a wedding dress or for that matter even see her have her first boyfriend.
Bryson (5) will never have memories of his parents teaching him how to drive, or give him advice at his first job. Bryson has separation anxiety since his daddy has been gone, but still remembers him and talks about him being in heaven.
And Neveah, whose sweet heart has only lived with her parents for 3, way too short years, will only have memories of her parents, from pictures and what her loved ones tell her.
They have seen more struggles than any young kids should ever have to go through. I feel helpless. We all feel helpless. Watching the kids suffer through another loss brings unimaginable pain. The children are with their grandmothers and they all are doing what they can just to get by.
We want to have a funeral to give her children and the family a place to say goodbye to Liz. We need help with funeral costs and funds to give the kids the best chance at overcoming such tragedy.
If you can please donate, share, and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we, yet again, start the process of grieving with Alaina, Bryson, and Neveah.
We appreciate you and we can not thank you enough for your support and love during this time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
