Lizzie's Ear Polyp Removal Operation

We're Brian and Jude and this is our cat Lizzie. She's 14 years old and sleeps on the pillow next to us every night. We take her for walks in the woods along with our other cats.

Lizzie has got ear polyps which need removing as her ear has become infected.  She already had an operation to remove a previous polyp a couple of years back but, as often happens, the polyp grew back even larger.

This time the vet recommends removing part of her ear canal in an operation called a Total Ear Canal Ablation which in most cases prevents the infection returning and means Lizzie will be comfortable again, but due to me (Jude) having Long Covid for most of the last year I wasn't able to return to my day job which has meant that funding this operation is beyond our budget. 

Any help you can give will be gratefully received, and we'll follow up with more pictures of Lizzie after her operation, which is scheduled for Wednesday 19th.

We love our pets so much that Brian has carved headstones for the graves of our former cats who have passed away. Hopefully we won't need one for Lizzie for a long time yet! Thanks again, Jude and Brian xxx
