Many will be aware that our Riverside Park home was recently flooded when the River Rhymney burst its banks. Our pitch, Changing Rooms and Lock Ups we’re submerged in as much as 5feet of river water.
We have now finally been able to assess the damage / losses to the club and are sad to say that we have lost 4 team kits, training kit + equipment and our pitch maintenance machinery has suffered serious water damage that will be expensive to repair.
As a result the Club has launched several fundraising efforts and we need to get cracking immediately:-
1. We have set up a “Go Fund Me” Page for anyone who are able to offer any donations. We know there are several of these going for the same reasons, but if anyone is able to spare a pound or two we would be really grateful.
