Llewellyn LeDoux Memorial Scholarship Fund

Hi, my name is Christy Bailey. Do you remember your favorite high school teacher? I had the privilege and pleasure of working with mine for 25 years. Llewellyn LeDoux was a Vidor High School CTE business teacher who taught typing, keyboarding, and BCIS (she loved teaching Microsoft Office to her students) for 38 years! This account is for a scholarship to be awarded this year to a deserving Vidor High School CTE Senior in her memory. This is just an opportunity to show your love and respect for her if you had her as a teacher, coworker or friend.

Llewellyn Emma LeDoux, 76, of Vidor, died Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Vidor. She was a devout Catholic who would attend mass whenever she was able. Llewellyn retired from Vidor ISD as a high school teacher after 38 years and worked another 5 years as a part time secretary in the band hall. She loved all of her students and colleagues with whom she had the pleasure of working. She loved going to the beach, sewing and quilting, loved flowers of all kinds, her dog CoCo, and most importantly her grandkids. She is survived by her children: Laura and husband Michael Clark of Nederland, TX and Denise and Troy McLeod of Vidor, TX, sister Jeanette Dickinson of Vidor, TX and grandchildren: Brooke Clark and fiancé Alan Underwood, Kaitlyn Clark, Cade McLeod, and Peyton McLeod.
