Lloyd and Lisa with Gas Expenses

Hello! My name is Gwen. I am a friend of Lisa Springer and Lloyd Mosely.

This story started a few years ago with a knee replacement being infected. The infection became so bad and out of control that there was nothing more to do but amputate the leg above the knee, hoping this would stop the infection from spreading. It did stop for awhile, or so we thought. Actually the infection was still there, and spreading into the bone. Jump three years forward to March 2023. Lisa had to go to Mayo's in Rochester, MN to have the rest of her right leg amputated to the hip. The infection had taken over the bone.

Lisa is now in a skilled care facility in Davenport, IA. Lloyd is making trips daily from Conesville, IA everyday to see her. It's 124 miles round trip each day

With Lisa being on disability and Lloyd being retired and on Social Security the price of gas has eaten away at any money they may have saved.

All amounts collected will be used for gas back and forth for Lloyd. It will also be used for trips to Mayo's for Lisa's recurring appointments.
