Lloyd Hatton MP London Marathon for The Veterans Hub
Donation protected
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to visit this page.
Hi, I’m Lloyd Hatton, the Labour MP for South Dorset, and this April, I’ll be taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon to raise money for The Veterans Hub.
The Veterans Hub is a Weymouth-based community group providing vital support to local veterans and their families. Their work is nothing short of life-changing—offering trauma-based therapeutic support, mental health assistance, and a welcoming space for those who have served our country.
Having worked closely with Andy, Rachel, and the wider team, I’ve seen first-hand the difference they make in the lives of veterans across South Dorset. Many rely on The Veterans Hub as a place of safety, camaraderie, and practical support. Their commitment to helping our local veterans is inspiring, and I want to do my part to ensure their work continues.
Running 26.2 miles is no easy feat, but it’s nothing compared to the sacrifices made by those who have served. I’m taking on this challenge to give back to a community that has given so much. My goal is to raise £4,000, which will help fund trauma-based support and other wellbeing activities for veterans and their families.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards supporting this incredible organisation. If you’re able to contribute, please consider making a donation and sharing this page with your friends and family.
