LMU-AAUP Staff Solidarity Fund

As part of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Loyola Marymount University has chosen to furlough 230 of its staff. This will mean a significant hardship for many of them. In solidarity with these staff whose work is so crucial to our own, the Loyola Marymount University chapter of the American Association of University Professors  is raising funds to help the staff who are most vulnerable because of the layoffs. This is a completely voluntary effort and is open to the public as well as members of LMU AAUP and the broader LMU community! As a personal gift, these contributions are not tax deductible; but any amount, not matter how small, is welcome and will be distributed to furloughed staff at LMU.  There are no shortage of ways you can help right now, but this is a way you can help right here at home.
