Local 21year old mother shot at church loses leg

Clarissa Roberlo Velasquez, 21 years old, moved to the United States in search of a better life for her and her now 7 year old son. In doing so, she met her husband Alejandro. They live and work in Springfield TN. On July 4th they were at church, when tragedy struck. She was inside the church when a stray bullet came through the door, striking her in her right leg. Unfortunately, today they had to amputate that leg at the knee. With her husband by her side and taking care of their son, there is no income coming in and she also doesn't have medical insurance. This is going to be a very long and expensive road for their family. They not only need money for food and bills, but also for medical expenses and hopefully a prosthetic leg in the future.
