My name is Lucie Romeo, I am 14 years old, and I am raising funds to travel to New Zealand this December to represent BC on the BC Elite Rugby team.

A Little Bit About Me:
I have been playing sports all my life, but for the past 3 years I have focused on Rugby. I have been awarded the Top Female Athlete of the year from my schools, for the past 6 years in a row. I have been training and competing with the highest level of play available to me at this age.

More Than Just A Trip:
Going to New Zealand is more than just a trip for me. Being apart of this team provides me the opportunity to be trained by top coaches and play with high level athletes. It will also allow me to compete against other high level athletes. All of which, will help me along my journey of becoming a high calabler athlete that will represent Canada.

My Drive:
My work ethic is strong, on and off the field. I consistently hold a straight A average in school, I am self motivated and I always work harder, every time. My enthusiasm is high and this is just the beginning.

In The News:
Most recently I have competed against athletes across Canada to gain recognition from the Royal Bank of Canada's Training Ground program, as one of the top 30 athletes in Canada to be a potential Olympian. You can read an article here. It is my dream to play for Team Canada.

Born and raised in Abbotsford BC, my love for rugby is real, and I will continue to strive to represent my Country. I recognize that I wouldn't be where I am, without my coaches, teammates, family and other support systems. I see how much those around me also enjoy watching the sport. Perhaps you would like to support a local athlete? Perhaps you would like to be apart of my community of support.

As I travel around the globe, I wear my sports gear around airports and throughout cities. I would be happy to represent your company on my backpack to show my gratitude for any contributions to my journey. I hope you enjoy seeing where I go!
