Local homes and families

Hi, my name is Jen and I want to raise money for the home owners that are being directly impacted from the fires. Families are needing to disperse from their homes and I think that they need financial help.

As we learn more in real time, Mariah wants me to share her friend’s story.

Ian Barnes a Maui First Responder and single Dad of two young children. Finds time to to work a second job to make ends meet. Since the fires started, Ian has been working around the clock. Specializing in Water Search and Rescue. While he risks his life to save others, their home burned to the ground. They are left with nothing of the life they knew only days ago. They do have their health and each other.

So many share this horrific tragedy and worse. Ian honors his Community everyday and we’d like to honor him with donations.

As we continue to see contributions added, it’s obvious we can exceed our initial goal. We will continue updates and stay transparent with your generosities.

UPDATE!

Ian Barnes is on the front lines and is helping us determine distributions of our donations. He says there are at least 4 other Water Search and Rescue coworkers that have lost everything. There are still 1,000.00 people not accounted for. So they continue…
