Local Law Enforcement Family in Need

A member of the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office family, Deputy Cody Maycumber, and

his wife Julie, were expecting twins; however, due to severe complications, Richard and Nevin had to be delivered

three months early. Nevin did not survive the complications and his twin, Richard, is currently in the

newborn intensive care unit. During this time, which should only be joyful, the Maycumber family is

grieving a terrible loss. The Valencia County Deputies Association is asking for the public’s help in

supporting a member of our law enforcement family. All funds will go directly to the Maycumber family

to support medical, funeral, and recovery costs.
