COED DARCY RESERVES NEW KIT!

Donation protected
Hi guys , My name is Ryan . I am the Reserve team manager for Coed Darcy reserve team in Neath. We are a small, family like , local club in desperate need of a new kit so am looking at raising some money to help towards it . I am hoping to give something back to this club which has been so important to me and my recovery since leaving rehab .

Let me tell you a little bit about me, a Bristolian that has ended up living and loving Neath! (which I never even knew existed) haha

I am an ex alcoholic/addict , luckily for me I managed to survive long even to make it into Brynawel rehab in Llanharan wales. I stayed here for 6 months and managed to get myself clean and sober. The staff and treatment I got in the place changed my life completely, and I can’t thank them enough for what they've done for me! ANYONE who is struggling with addiction please reach out for help, Brynawel saved my life.

After finishing my time there, I decided I need a fresh start away from Bristol and was offered to stay in a dry house in Neath named Healics.

I was very grateful but very lonely after leaving my life in Bristol and having just 3 contacts on my phone. So I knew I had to do something. I searched for local football clubs and found Coed Darcy and have never looked back! All the lads coaches and players welcomed me and took this random Bristolian under there wings. I immediately felt part of something and played for a season until my knees finally gave in.

I have now taken over the reserve team as manger and we 're really trying to build something special. I love the lads involved and it has given me the purpose I needed to keep myself mentally well.
I REALLY want to give something back to this amazing club and seeing as our kit's looking very tired now , what better way of saying thank you to the lads than by raising money for a brand new kit!

I am 2 years 3 months sober now and the happiest I have ever been.

This club has been a massive part of my recovery since leaving, and have supported me every step of the way .
so please help me give something back to them
Thank you #uppadarcy
