Local Oviedo Firefighter Hero Needs Your Help

To everyone who may not have heard the news, our local hero at Oviedo Fire and Rescue, Danny Forrest has tragically and unexpectedly lost his daughter Ella to an unforeseen accident. In case you were not aware, Danny and his wife Candace are both longtime residents of Oviedo, along with his father Scott Forrest who is a Battalion Chief for Oviedo Fire and Rescue, and brother Kyle Forrest who works for Seminole County Fire Department. What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock. Understandably Danny and his wife are struggling to cope with this unspeakable loss.  So Oviedo Fire and Rescue is teaming up with Mission Barbecue and are helping with organizing a fundraiser to support Danny and his family at this unimaginable time. We have already had numerous emails, texts, and messages from people asking how to help. This fundraising page has been set up to help support the family in need.
