Local Paramedic Needs Help

Hello! Our friend and co-worker Maria Hoyt slipped and fell yesterday, dislocating and breaking her ankle. She requires surgery to repair the damage.

For those that know Maria, know she is hard-working, gruff and incredibly independent woman, with a heart of gold! Maria works as a paramedic for two local ambulance services, and owns a small German bakery in Ellsworth. Maria, being Maria, would never consider asking others for help.

Maria will be unable to work for the foreseeable future and could use a helping hand.

Any money donated will be used for medical expenses and to help cover bills during her recovery.
