Local Williamsburg Brooklyn Cafe Needs Help
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Community Members,
On behalf of my dear friend, local artist and business owner Lan, I want to share a recent event that has impacted our local and beloved community space. At 2:30 AM on September 3rd, a burglar broke into the pinkFROG cafe in Williamsburg Brooklyn and proceeded to break into the register and steal money, several high value electronics items and even custom made artistic t-shirts and art pieces. The laptop that was stolen contained numerous digital art projects and plans as well.
Lan and Peter have tirelessly worked to build a loving and beautiful space for artists, musicians and community organizers and have hosted innumerable events with us. This has set them back several thousand dollars.
The estimated total amount of damages is $5000, which we seek to raise for pinkFROG cafe and includes costs for the following items:
- Locksmith charge and emergency lock replacement
- Laptop which was stolen
- Set of custom tools for wood sculptures
- Cash register and money contents
- Android Phone
- Suitcase
- UberEats Tablet Device
Let us band together and help support a cherished local Brooklyn business and member of the Asian American community.
Sincerely,
Hari Nandu
