Kickstarter - Location and Rights

Hi there, we are Yorkshire Productions! We are seeking funding to secure the location and show license for our debut musical theatre tour. This funding ensures two shows, April 1st and 2nd, at the 1,100-seat Merchant Hall at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Prince William County, VA.

Who We Are:

Yorkshire Productions is a Virginia-based professional theatre company. As a nonprofit, we focus on giving back to the community by casting high school, undergraduate, and graduate talent, refining their technique, and showcasing their skills across the east coast.

What We’re Doing:

As a Virginia-based company that strives towards excellence, Yorkshire Productions is focused on creating the highest grade professional environment for their talent and audiences. Primarily students, the talent recruited by Yorkshire Theatre comes from all across the state of Virginia. This nonprofit is a platform to bridge the gap between community and college-level productions and those of a Broadway-like status.

Yorkshire isn’t your typical theatre company; this is because our shows extend beyond a single playhouse. With our multi-city framework, we plan to reach more communities, bringing the highest quality talent to smaller markets and breathing life back into retired Broadway musicals.
