Lockies Journey And Recovery
Donation protected
This is Lockie. Bundy (dog). And Shirley (van).
I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read his story. I’m Lockies partner. I’ve made this page to help him in a really difficult time, he’s unaware of this page. Lockie and Bundy have been living in their van for the past 3 years. Early Monday morning there was a traumatic accident, his van flipped, destroying everything in it and he lost two of his fingers. He has been in intensive care, had two surgeries and is lucky that him and Bundy are alive. Any donations will go towards purchasing and rebuilding his home, personal belongings, and most importantly, his recovery. He will also be unable to work for a while.
Lockie is the most kind hearted, hilarious, joyful, generous person I have ever met… anyone who knows him would agree. He is a positive ray of sunshine and has already lived such an inspiring, adventurous life.
Lockie will drop anything to help anyone out. The first time we hung out, we were running late to a friends surprise birthday. He saw 2 people stopped on the highway who looked like they needed help, he instantly pulled over to help them and we waited until they were safe and getting the help they needed. This is one of the many times he’s done this, no matter where we are going he will always stop, and drop whatever he is doing to help a stranger out. Once, in an Uber coming home from a party, he witnessed a horrific motor bike accident. He asked the Uber driver to stop, and lockie gave first aid to 2 people. He saved their lives. He’s saved many peoples lives. This is a testament to the selfless person that he is.
I’ve created this Gofundme in the hope that he can receive some of the support he is so often giving. On top of coming to grips with this new way of living, Lockie has to now undergo the massive task of finding a new home, starting from scratch, and rebuilding his life. Any amount your willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated, if you are unable to donate, a share with your friends and family would mean the world. I know he would be eternally grateful and overwhelmed. Thankyou so much!
