Loewen’s Recovery
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Emily Park. On July 4th, while celebrating with friends, my husband Loewen was lighting fireworks when a fuse malfunction occurred and one of them exploded while he was holding it in his left hand. After being rushed to South Seminole hospital, then airlifted over to ORMC, surgeons were able to save his life by amputating multiple fingers from his left hand. His right hand and chest also suffered flash burns and shrapnel wounds, but thankfully will fully recover. Between weekly check ups, months of physical therapy, and potentially more surgery, Loewen has a long and costly road to recovery ahead. Any money raised will go directly to medical bills and physical therapy. If anyone is able to contribute, any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
