Hi friends and family! Thank you for following us on our adoption journey. As you may already know, we have decided to adopt a baby! We are so excited to begin this process, and we want to give you the opportunity to come alongside us on this journey.
First and foremost, we are asking people to support us by praying for us and for our baby during the next several months. We started this GoFundMe as a way to bring the people that love us along for the adventure with us. We are so grateful for all the people in our lives who already love Baby Smith so much. We know how special it will be to explain to our baby one day that our friends and family helped to get him or her home.
We also ask for you to consider being a part of this journey with us financially. We will have a lot of expenses over the next several months and that is all before the baby even gets here. We have spent several months saving and selling to help us get closer to our goal but we are not there yet. Because of this we are asking you to prayerfully consider supporting us financially as well.
That being said, we aren’t the type of people who ask for financial support without giving something back to our supporters. We have been busy selling a lot of items, but we have some larger items that are more difficult to sell. So, we will be using this GoFundMe page as a raffle for these items. For every $10 donated we will write your name on a ticket. If you give $20, we will write your name on 2 tickets, $40 equals 4 tickets, etc. At the end of our campaign we will draw tickets out of a bucket. Each time that a name is drawn, we will contact the winner and you will get to choose from one of our many prizes. Only one prize per contestant. If your name is drawn more than once we will draw again. We will continue drawing names until there are no prizes left.
Our campaign will end July 31st at 8pm. We will draw names and notify winners by August 4th.
The prizes include the following:
-A 7-night stay at any Marriott Hotel or Resort in the world. Good for up to 2 adults and 2 kids. Subject to availability. All-inclusive resorts not included. Resort fees, parking fees, and food not included. (Logan will work with you and with Marriott to get this booked).
Possible locations include The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, The JW Marriott in Cancun, Frenchman's Cove in St. Thomas, and MANY MORE!!!!!!
-A one week stay (Oct.-Mar.) at a beach house in Gulf Shores. House sleeps 10 but you can also go by yourself if you would like to get away from people. Saturday to Saturday stay. Subject to availability.
-One night stay at any IHG Hotel in the world. Subject to availability. (Logan will work with you and IHG to get this booked).
-2 tickets to Ed Sheeran concert. (Aug. 26 at 7:30 at Infinite Energy Arena). Parking not included. Literally the best seats in the house, because they are right next to us!
