Help Logan maintain his independence

Logan is a 10 year old boy living with a debilitating condition, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). He is a part of a family who love to go on adventures and have experiences together.

As of January this year, Logan's condition has declined and he has gone from walking, to using a powerchair full time. The use of a powerchair does assist Logan in maintaining a level of independence, but also comes with some obstacles, one of the biggest obstacles we are experiencing at the moment is transporting Logan around to things like regular therapies, visiting family and friends, attending his scout meetings and just the freedom to be able to leave the house whenever he likes.

We, Logan's family, are committed to our local communities, including volunteering through Scout Leading, Ice Hockey Committee, P and C Committee and team sports. We gladly commit our time, in hopes of providing support where it's needed. There is no expectation for thanks, it's just good to be a part of something and be useful.

However, now we would like to call on the support from our communities and the greater community, to help us obtain a Hyundai Staria (for wheelchair access conversion) for Logan, to allow him to continue his participation in experiences and adventures with his family and friends.

Your donation would assist in the purchase of a wheelchair accessible vehicle, that would provide a great level of assistance, independence and freedom for a boy and family that would be truly appreciative of your consideration and support.
