LOGAN EVERETT #Loganstrong

Hello to all of our family & friends who have been on this tough journey with Logan! Let me first tell you he is a fighter & keeps all of us fighting for him & his recovery.

Logan is 17 years old & was a victim of a horrible crime. He was shot in the neck shattering his C5 Vertebrae leaving him PARALYZED. Logan was also shot in his stomach & had exploratory surgery, causing swelling, resulting in both lungs to collapse. He was on a breathing machine & 4 chest tubes for over a month and a half . We were told the worst news any parent could imagine.... 1: Logan would never breath on his own 2: Logan will never have movement of his body or ever walk again

Well, with MANY PRAYERS going out for this trooper, Logan is completely off the breathing machine, eating a normal diet, has movement in his shoulders and can lift his right arm. PRAYERS are being answered and we want to keep AGGRESSIVE WITH HIS REHAB. This is were our family is asking for help.

Logan has been in 3 Hospitals. Due to his lungs and fighting a horrible bed sore, it kept prolonging him getting into Baylor Rehab in Dallas. He is finally there and has started on rehab.

I am sure you can imagine the medical bills that are already coming in and the future ones. Logan will also need Outpatient Therapy and possibly other surgeries. Although he is breathing on his own, he will always be prone to pneumonia.  Our home also needs help with modifications to fit Logan's needs. Transportation is also a concern. Our vehicles are not wheel chair accessible and we want to give Logan the most NORMAL LIFE AS POSSIBLE!

Logan's new journey is just beginning and we want to thank each and everyone who could help us out in getting Logan to his new normal ways in life. He knows he has to keep positive vibes for positive outcomes.

PLEASE, to each and everyone, could you share this and get the word out! Logan will be in rehab approximately 6 more weeks then he is home with us.
