Help Logan get his rights as a father
Donation protected
I never thought I would be in this position, for numerous reasons. Admittedly so, I've always been a little too prideful to "ask for handouts". It's never been who I am. As a man, we are essentially groomed to suffer in silence and we naturally come with an "I'll figure it out" mindset. However, this is above my pride or my ego. This is ALL about my daughter, Araya Kathleen Rain Jorgensen.
Since I was 18, I've wanted to be a father. As the years passed and it hadn't happened for me, I began to believe it never would; until it did. The moment my daughter was born, I was instantly more in love than I had ever been.
Unfortunately, things didn't work out with her mother and I. I had previously thought we would be able to work out a parenting plan, while keeping things out of court. Sadly though, her mother has chosen to go a different path. She refuses to let me take my daughter anywhere by myself. She has yet to be in my house or even my car, for no viable reason. The only way I get to see my daughter, is if I go to her house. So I'm essentially relegated to supervised visits.
With that being said, I'm forced to take things to court. That comes with a financial burden that I was not prepared for. I'm going through the Nebraska for Father's Rights movement and their recommended lawyer comes with a $2500 retainer; I've currently got $1500 saved up, but times are tough.
If you're able to help, it would be greatly appreciated!! And just know that it would be going to a great cause! I'm no dead beat father. This little girl means the world to me and I just want the personal time, that I deserve, as said father
