Logan Gives Back 2021

As many of you know, Logan was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes the day after his 4th birthday, on February 22nd, 2018. In the diabetes community, we celebrate or honor this anniversary to show support, acknowledge the tremendous circumstance the T1D endures, and too maybe... hopefully, turn this very bad day into something positive.
Last year on a whim, I set up a gofundme. Within 48 hrs, we raised almost $1000 to be used to buy toys, art supplies, and gift cards for the toy room at Phoenix Children's hospital!!! For sick kids at PCH, and their parents, it is hell. Grappling with a lifetime diagnosis, seeing your child sick and terrified... I don't wish that for any of you.
But, the TOY ROOM. The toy room is a beacon of light for these kids. AND, it's not just that. Your child is given a new toy whenever they have a procedure done, they have new toys waiting on their beds when they get into their room, and it makes it tolerable for them. I'm sure with Covid, the toy room is closed this year, But I know they need toys for all the sweet kids who need something to be excited about, or to get them through something they are scared of.
As a family, we will go to Walmart and Logan and Taylor will fill up as many carts as we can with monster trucks, barbie dolls, color pencils, lego sets, stuffed animals, activity books, video games, iTunes gift cards for teen patients... and then Logan will personally deliver everything to PCH on his "dia-versary" on February 22nd. He can cheer up a kid facing his same diagnosis, on the same day his life also changed.
No donation is too small!!! $5 can make a Childs day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us continue this tradition and give back to Phoenix Children's Hospital, and supporting Logan!
