On 10/16/2023, the Keller Family suffered the unexpected and tragic loss of their son, Logan "Short Stack" Keller. Parents Mandy and Joe, as well as siblings Toby and Gilbert, are navigating through this very difficult time grieving with family and friends.

Logan was an amazing young boy who brought joy to everyone he met. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. His very early childhood was extremely difficult as he suffered horrific and violent abuse at the hands of his natural parents.

Mandy and Joe learned of his abuse, and adopted Logan to give him the greatest life possible. There was no hesitation to nurture Logan and give him a stable home and a loving family. His life was full of love and laughter, and he will be remembered for his courage, his bright smile and his big heart.

There will be many financial needs in the coming year, some of which are unknown at this time, to include immediate burial expenses. Please consider helping the Keller family with your love and financial support during their time of need.

I have personally known the Keller family since Joe and I attended the Police Academy together over ten years ago. He quickly became one of my closest friends and we have worked together for two law enforcement agencies.

At our first agency together, during a call for service for an unresponsive toddler, Logan's twin brother was found deceased. It was later learned Logan was severely abused and was placed on life support due to the extent of his injuries.

The horrific abuse which led to Logan's significant injuries, and his twin brothers death, were found to be at the hands of his mother and her boyfriend. Both are in prison serving lengthy prison sentences with a maximum of life in prison. Logan's injuries were so severe, he needed extensive rehabilitation and medical care.

Joe and Mandy didn't hesitate to take Logan in as their own, which eventually led to his adoption. During this tragic time of loss, and due to our deep friendship, Joe and the Keller family have asked me to manage the donated funds.

The funds will be held in a dedicated account in my name, to pay expenses related to the funeral and memorial services. The remaining funds will be transferred to their account, to be used as needed, once the funeral and memorial services are over.
